Did you know that not all Pediatric Dentists are Board Certified and Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry?
Meet Team HappyHealthyTeeth! Since 1972, Our Team strives to create an unparalleled experience that engages children and their parents in dental health and well being!
The Pediatric Dentist is a specialist who is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teenage years. Because infants, children and teenagers all have different dental needs, the pediatric dentist is best qualified in guiding their dental growth and development and in helping them avoid future dental problems.
In addition to attending dental school, the pediatric dentist receives specialized training to provide the most up to date and thorough treatment for a wide variety of children’s dental problems. Because of this specialized training and commitment to comprehensive oral health, many parents choose a pediatric dentist to treat their children.
Orthodontists are specialists in straightening teeth and aligning your bite. They have two to three years of specialty education beyond dental school. So they're experts at helping you get a great smile -- that feels great, too.
All Orthodontists are dentists, but only about 6 percent of dentists are Orthodontists. An Orthodontist is a specialist in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of dental and facial irregularities. They must then successfully complete an additional two- to three-year residency program of advanced education in orthodontics. Through this training, the orthodontist learns the skills required to manage tooth movement (orthodontics) and guide facial development (dentofacial orthopedics).
